HONEY WHEAT SANDWICH BREAD
In this video, I show you how to make my favorite homemade honey wheat sandwich bread. It's delicious, tender, and slightly sweet, and it's actually pretty easy to make!
INGREDIENTS
- 165g (~1.25 Cups) Whole Wheat Flour 
- 255g (~ 2 Cups) Bread Flour (or All-Purpose Flour) 
- 270g (9 fl oz) Water (Preferably around 100 degrees F) 
- 4g (~1.25 tsp) Instant Yeast 
- 32g (1.5 Tbsp) Honey 
- 36g (3 Tbsp) Brown Sugar 
- 10g (~1.5 tsp) Kosher Salt 
- 42g (3 Tbsp) Softened Butter 
STEPS
- Mix flour and water, and let autolyse for at least 30 minutes. 
- Add yeast, honey, brown sugar, and salt, and mix using stand mixer w/ dough hook attachment for 10 minutes. 
- Add butter gradually and knead for another 5 minutes, or until butter is fully incorporated. 
- Cover and let rest at a warm temp for 30 minutes. 
- Punch down, shape and transfer to greased 9x5 loaf pan. 
- Allow to rise at a warm temp for 30 minutes, or until about doubled in size. 
- Bake at 350F for 25 minutes, then cover with foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes.
